Who are we?

Job applicantsIf you are applying for a position at our company, we process your personal data to the extent you have provided it to us in your CV, cover letter, response to a job advertisement, or during the selection process. We process your personal data for the purpose of conducting the selection process, assessing your suitability for a specific position, and potentially entering into an employment contract or other agreement. The legal basis for such processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request and our legitimate interest in filling the position with a suitable candidate. We do not require your consent to the processing of personal data for this purpose.
If you grant us specific consent, we may retain your personal data for future use, should another position become available and we wish to contact you with an offer. Please download the consent form for the processing of personal data for this purpose, complete it, and send the signed form together with your other documents. You may withdraw your consent at any time. We retain your personal data processed for the purpose of a specific selection process for the period necessary to complete it and to protect our legal interests; data processed on the basis of your consent is retained for the period stated in the consent, but no longer than a period proportionate to the nature of selection processes. Upon expiry of this period or upon withdrawal of consent, we will securely delete your personal data; the consent itself is then retained for a further 1 year so that we can demonstrate that personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
In accordance with Act No. 76/2026 Coll. on equal pay for men and women for equal work or work of equal value, we provide you with information about the starting remuneration or its realistic range in job offers. During recruitment, we do not require information about your previous salary with other employers; we may only ask about your salary expectations for the given position.
Suppliers
If you are our supplier or a contact person of a supplier, we process your personal data for the purpose of placing orders, performing the contract, and fulfilling related statutory obligations. We process your personal data to the extent of contact details on the legal basis of performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.
Online testing
In order for you to use our online testing system, we require your personal data. We process this to the extent of contact details and data obtained during testing on the legal basis of performance of a contract. It will be used solely for testing, evaluation of results, sending notification of test results, and offering a suitable course.
Online registration for courses and e-learning
Through our website or a Google Docs form, you may register for your desired course or e-learning course at any time. We process the data you provide in the registration form for the purpose of securing your participation in the selected course, on the legal basis of performance of a contract.

Children's courses
One of our activities is running courses for children at schools. If you or your child are a participant in a course, we process your personal data. We process this to the extent it is provided to us and obtained during the course. It will be used solely for the purpose of securing participation in the course and delivering the selected course at the school. We process your personal data on the legal basis of compliance with a statutory obligation arising from the Education Act.
Courses
In order to provide you with the required services and fulfil all related statutory obligations, we process your personal data to the extent of contact details and data obtained during the course. We process your personal data on the legal basis of performance of a contract and compliance with a statutory obligation, for the purpose of securing your participation in the course, delivering the selected course, and fulfilling related statutory obligations.
E-learning

Cambridge examinations
If you have registered for a Cambridge examination, we process your personal data solely for the purpose of securing your participation in the examination, conducting, and evaluating the examination.
In order for you to sit the examination, we require your personal data to the stated extent. We process this on the legal basis of performance of a contract, in accordance with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act, solely for this purpose.

Educational events
In order to provide you with educational services and fulfil all related statutory obligations, we process your personal data to the extent of contact details and, where applicable, further data whose processing is necessary for the provision of educational services. We process this personal data on the legal basis of performance of a contract for the purpose of securing your participation in educational events, and on the legal basis of compliance with a statutory obligation for the purpose of fulfilling related statutory obligations.
Marketing
We may process your personal data, such as your first name, last name, email address and telephone number, in certain circumstances in order to contact you with offers of our services and to inform you about our activities and news in the field of language education. We send these marketing messages (including newsletters) only to individuals who are our clients or who have already used our paid or free services.
In such cases, we process your personal data without your consent on the legal basis of legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to inform you about similar services that are related to our existing business relationship with you or to your area of interest. When we obtain your contact details, we always give you the possibility to easily refuse marketing. In every email communication, you can reply to that email at any time and request to be removed from our mailing list; such a reply is treated as an objection to any further marketing communications. Once you have objected, we no longer use your personal data for marketing purposes.
We store personal data processed for marketing purposes for the duration of the business relationship or for a reasonable period after it has ended, but no longer than until you object to direct marketing or ask us to remove you from our mailing list (for example by replying to a sent email). We may retain a record that you have objected or requested removal for a limited period of time in order to demonstrate that the processing was carried out in compliance with the GDPR.

How long do we retain your personal data?
We retain your personal data only for the period necessary as determined by the purpose of processing. Personal data processed for the purpose of providing services is retained for a maximum of 5 years, unless specific legislation provides otherwise. Accounting documents are retained in accordance with the law for a period of 10 years.Personal data processed for marketing purposes is retained for the period for which you have given us consent, i.e. 5 years, or for a shorter period if you withdraw your consent. The consent itself is then retained for a further one year to demonstrate that personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
Where do we transfer your personal data?
We may transfer your personal data to third countries, in particular to the USA, in connection with the provision of services through processors located in that country and the use of Google, Facebook, and other services. Such transfers are carried out only through mechanisms permitted by the GDPR (for example, an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses), which ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.Not satisfied?

Right to rectification

Right to erasure

Right to restriction of processing
You may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. If we comply with your request, we will only store your personal data and will not process it further. Restriction of processing of your data will occur if:
- you notify us that your personal data is incorrect, until we verify its accuracy,
- we are processing your personal data unlawfully, but you do not agree to its erasure and instead request that we merely restrict the processing of your personal data,
- we no longer need your data, but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend your legal rights,
- you object to the processing of your personal data, until we verify whether our legitimate interests override your grounds.
Right to data portability
Where we process your personal data in the required form, you have the right to request that we provide it to you in an electronic format (e.g. an XML or CSV file) that allows you to easily transfer the data to another company. You may also request that we transfer your personal data directly to a company of your choice. We will comply with your request where you have provided the personal data to us directly and have given us consent to process it, or where the data is processed on the basis of a contract.
Right to object
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you may object to such processing at any time. Following an objection, we will no longer process your personal data for this purpose. If we process your personal data in the following cases:
