YLE Cambridge Exams

There are 3 levels of the exams:

• Pre A1 Starters (for age 7-10)
• A1 Movers (for age 8-11)
• A2 Flyers (for age 9-12)

Exam dates for YLE

We can run the testing by four test takers.

 

Exam charakteristics:

• age of children taken into account
• intended for children between 7 and 12 years old
• interesting and amusing tasks
• assessed by independent institution – Cambridge English
• objective evaluation
• motivating instead of stressful
• every child gets a certificate

The main goal is to provide a positive experience with examination and allow children experience of  success. Scoring of the exam parts ranges according to the number of shields from 1 to 5.

Cambridge exam YLE – dates for schools:
We will gladly set up an exam date of your choice if a minimum of 10 children (for all three levels altogether) apply for it.  It is possible to organise the exam at the premises of your school (meeting the exam room requirements of Cambridge English).
