The certificate is recognised as proof of language proficiency within the Slovak immigration system and for A2-level employment requirements at the Foreign Police.

An educational institution registered in the network of schools of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic. Since 1999, we have been offering Slovak as a foreign language and organising exams according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).


Who is the exam for?
The exam is intended for foreigners who:
  • need proof of Slovak language knowledge for temporary or permanent residence in Slovakia,
  • need a language certificate for their employer,
  • want or need to verify their communication competence in Slovak.


What will you receive?
A Certificate of Slovak Language Proficiency at Level A2, which:
  • confirms your knowledge of Slovak as a foreign language,
  • includes a percentage score for each language skill,
  • is valid from July 15, 2025, according to Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on the Residence of Foreigners.

If you successfully pass the exam, you will receive an official certificate that can be presented to the Foreign Police or other authorities.


What does the exam assess?
Written part: 120 minutes
  • Reading comprehension
  • Writing
  • Listening comprehension
Oral part: 10 minutes
  • Speaking (only if the written part is passed successfully)
You need to set aside a whole day for the exam.

  • Once processed by Exam department, you will receive an invitation with detailed information
  • Successful candidates will receive their certificate within 3 working days after the exam
  • The number of exam participants is limited
