Courses are available in person in Bratislava and online, at A2 and B2 levels, as part of the internationally recognised Cambridge CELTA teacher training programme.

How can the courses be free?
You might be thinking: "There must be a catch!"
The only "catch" is that these courses form part of our prestigious Cambridge CELTA teacher training programme (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) – the most widely recognised international qualification for English language teachers in the world.
CELTA candidates – most of whom are already experienced English teachers – are completing their international certification so that they can teach anywhere in the world. To do so, they need real students on whom to practise their new teaching techniques. That's where you come in.
Every lesson is conducted under the direct supervision of experienced CELTA trainers, so the quality of teaching is guaranteed.
Participation Requirements and Deposit
In order for the courses to run smoothly, we need your regular attendance. For this reason, we operate a motivational deposit system:
- Age: Minimum 16 years.
- English level: A2 or B2 (find out for free using the online test below).
- Deposit upon registration: €20 – this secures your place on the course.
- Deposit refund: With attendance above 90%, the full €20 is refunded. With good attendance, the course is therefore completely free of charge.

Are the English courses really free?
Yes. With good attendance, the course is completely free of charge. Upon registration you pay a €20 deposit, which is refunded if your attendance exceeds 90%.
Why are the courses free?

Can I attend the course online?
Yes. Subject to the CELTA course schedule, we offer both in-person courses in Bratislava and online courses. The currently available formats can be found in the dates section above.
Who will be teaching the lessons?
Lessons are delivered by Cambridge CELTA candidates – most of whom are already qualified English teachers completing their international certification. Every lesson takes place under the direct supervision of experienced CELTA trainers.
How old do I need to be to register?
Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
What if I miss a lesson?
The condition for the refund of the €20 deposit is attendance above 90%. The occasional absence is therefore not a problem – what matters is consistent overall participation.
When do the next courses begin?
The next in-person course runs from 29 June to 24 July 2026 for both A2 and B2 levels. Exact class times will be confirmed to registered participants.
Can I sign up for more than one date?
Yes. Within your level, you may register for all available dates, but only at one level (A2 or B2). The content does not repeat in the case of weekly in-person courses.
