A high-quality language school: a place where you learn a language faster and with joy

Choosing a high-quality language school means choosing the certainty of progress, a professional approach, and a pleasant atmosphere. These values are the foundation of our work and the reason why students return to us and recommend us to others.

In November 2025, we underwent our ninth inspection by the International House World Organisation network. This is a rigorous and strategic process designed to ensure that all IH-affiliated schools fulfil the IH Commitments – our public promises to students and staff.

Overall, we achieved very strong results, reflecting the high standards we strive for every day. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this success. Our teachers demonstrated exceptional expertise, creativity, and dedication, ensuring that students were at the centre of everything we do. The inspector praised the high level of engagement, clarity of teaching, and the strong relationships evident in the classrooms. Your hard work was truly visible.

Our greatest strength is teaching itself. Lessons are dynamic, interactive, and communication-focused, because we believe that a language is best learned through active use. We want IH Bratislava to be a friendly and motivating environment where students feel confident speaking and can progress naturally. The positive atmosphere in our classes is the result of experience, methodology, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching.

An individual approach is also very important to us. Even before a course begins, we help students choose the right level and type of programme so that their studies have a clear direction and realistic goals. As a result, learning is effective and progress is visible.

However, a quality language school is not only about teaching. We also place great emphasis on teacher development, organisation, and student support. Regular training and the sharing of experience help our team bring modern methods and new ideas into everyday practice.

This is also confirmed by the results of the IH Promise Survey, which showed very strong ratings from both clients and staff. Trust in teachers was exceptionally high, confidence in management was strong, and perceptions of the working environment were very positive. At the same time, NPS values have improved since 2022, indicating growing satisfaction and loyalty among both students and the team. These findings motivate us to continue improving quality and to maintain this positive trend in the future. Compared with the average across the global IHWO network, IH Bratislava performs above the standard in both measurements.
