English in secondary schools

The English programme for secondary school students is designed for those who want to take their English further in a practical, systematic way and with a clear goal in mind. The courses may focus either on preparation for Cambridge exams or on developing speaking skills and confidence in communication.

International House Bratislava is an international language school, included in the MŠVVaM SR network, with many years of experience in teaching English to children and teenagers.

Cambridge preparation or conversation

Students can choose a course according to their goals and level of English.

Cambridge exam preparation

This course is suitable for students who want to prepare for Cambridge English exams and obtain an internationally recognised certificate. The lessons focus on the individual parts of the exam, the development of language skills, and practising exam strategies.

Conversation course

This course is intended for students who want to speak more fluently, more naturally and with greater confidence. Lessons focus on communication, vocabulary, current topics and practical situations that students encounter at school, while travelling, and in their future working lives.

Fees, registration and payment

the student must be registered online by completing the application form
registration is for one school year: two terms (autumn and spring)
the course fee depends on the intensity and type of programme
exact fee information will be provided according to the specific school
