B2 First (FCE) and B2 First for Schools
FCE is a B2 Level exam and certificate and is one of the most widespread of all Cambridge English exams. Would you also like to take it and get the certificate? We will test you and we can also prepare you for the exam.

add Why choose B2 First (FCE) and B2 First for Schools?
- Candidates get an internationally recognised certificate, B2 First (FCE) at level B2 and thus improve their position on the job market, prove their English language knowledge sufficient to live and work independently in an English speaking country, or study courses held in English.
- Candidates show their English language knowledge and command of all skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, as well as grammar and vocabulary.
- Candidates receive a written evaluation containing the results of each part of the exam as well as the overall result.
- Successful candidates get an internationally recognised certificate (B2 First Certificate), which is valid for life.
add What does "for Schools" mean?
- B2 First for Schools is specially adapted to secondary school students aged 14-18 to increase their motivation for learning English.
- B2 First and B2 First for Schools are identical in their difficulty level. They only differ in contents and topics – in B2 First for Schools, authors are focused on the range of experiences and interests of secondary school students.
- B2 First for Schools (FCE for Schools) and B2 First (FCE) certificates are identical and there is no mention about the former being a “for Schools” version.
- It is possible to organise the exams at your school.

add Evaluation and certificate
Tested skills are evaluated individually. The candidate scores a certain number of points in each part.
Successful candidates are graded by one of the following grades– “A”, “B” or “C”.
The score reflects your level of English. The final result determines your overall grade.
To get the certificate (B2 First Certificate) proving your B2 level, you need to reach at least 160 points.
Candidates scoring between 140 and 159 get a Statement of Results and a certificate of B1 Level.
The exam result is available online within 4-6 weeks after the exam. Via a FREE online results service you can access the Statement of Results document containing the results from each part of the exam as well as your overall score.
