English courses
English level B2 Upper-Intermediate is the fifth level of proficiency in English, where learners have a good command of the language. At this level, learners can communicate fluently and spontaneously in most situations, and can use a wide range of vocabulary and complex grammar structures to express themselves. They can understand and produce more complex texts on a variety of topics, and can participate in debates and discussions on current events and abstract concepts. However, learners may still make occasional errors or have difficulty with more abstract or idiomatic language.

How is the English course at IH Bratislava
The minimum age limit for a student to be admitted to an English course is 15 years old, therefore the language course groups are places where different generations meet. For younger learners, please see our offer of English courses for children and teenagers.You can also study English for beginners with us.
The courses are based on specially designed educational material and the lessons include all the skills: writing, grammar, reading, listening, communication.
All the levels of the English language may feature alternating qualified teachers.
